Background:
Olive by Embassy, the technology-led hospitality brand backed by Embassy Group, has entered the Pune market with the launch of two new properties—Olive Hotel Baner and Olive Hotel Wakad. The two hotels together add 78 keys and mark the brand’s first step into one of India’s fastest-growing metro markets.
Entering Pune matches the city’s rise as a major IT and business hub. Strong infrastructure growth and steady corporate travel demand have made Pune an attractive market for smart, efficient, and technology-enabled accommodation. The new properties are located in Baner and Wakad, two areas closely linked to IT corridors and key commercial zones.
Kahraman Yigit, CEO and Co-founder of Olive by Embassy, said Pune brings together innovation, business growth, and professional movement, creating strong demand for well-connected and efficient hotels. He added that the Baner and Wakad launches strengthen the brand’s metro presence and support its long-term growth plans in the city.
Olive Hotel Baner is located in a well-developed commercial and residential area. It gives easy access to offices, social hubs and everyday lifestyle facilities. Olive Hotel Wakad focuses on professionals working in and around the Hinjewadi IT hub and supports longer business stays with direct connectivity to major business parks and the Mumbai–Pune Expressway.
The Pune launch is part of Olive by Embassy’s wider west India expansion. The brand plans to open more than 40 hotels with over 1,200 keys in Pune by 2030. Future locations will be in Hinjewadi, Pimpri Chinchwad, Hadapsar, Kalyani Nagar, MG Road, Viman Nagar, and Koregaon Park.
Across India, Olive by Embassy plans to add over 100 new locations in 2026 and expand its tech-driven hospitality model in fast-growing cities.
